At the bottom we can see Hickson 68
(NGC 5350, 5353, 5354, 5355 and 5358), one of the
brighter Hickson compact galaxy groups. Well resolved spiral
NGC 5350 makes this group even rather photogenic.
Like its nice (and big) neighbour
above, spiral galaxy
NGC 5371,
it is located 100 million light years from
Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici,
8 degrees southeast of M51. You may also notice a
2 billion LY distant galaxy cluster right of NGC
5371.
