NGC 2683 is (proably) a barred spiral galaxy in the northern constellation of Lynx. It is viewed nearly edge-on and is located about 30 million light-years away. It was nicknamed the UFO Galaxy by the Astronaut Memorial Planetarium and Observatory.  It is surely another interesting object for the early spring nights.. 
An arrow above the lower left corner marks (after Aladin) the most distant here captured quasar with z=3.05 (the light travel time was 11.5 Gyr).
