NGC 2403
(also Caldwell 7) is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the
constellation Camelopardis. It is an outlying member of the
M81 group and is approximately 8 million
light-years distant. (wiki)
This intersting and nice
galaxy is rather large (23.4' x 11.8') but it's surface
brightness is low (14.4m). It also shows some similarity
with M33. Suprisingly, not very popular object among amateur
astrophotographers..
As (for me) usually, an
inconspicuous arrow on the left shows a quasar with z=2.8
(the light travel time more than 11 billion years).
